Both vehicles from an era when colour photography was unheard of.
I tend to focus not on the bench itself but on the people (or bird) who choose to rest on it. I hope you enjoy my post.
In this series of photographs of benches, February is the month to post photos of benches in black and white. These are some I have taken over the last 12 months in Australia
Hyde Park Sydney
Armidale Railway station, country NSW
A restaurant called The Boathouse on Palm Beach in Sydney
Barrenjoey Headland overlooking Pittwater NSW.
This is a photo I took years ago on a little HP camera. I have recently just found all the photos I took on that camera again. So I cropped it, put a yellow filter on and voila. This is a road on the way to Coonabarabran; which is in the bush of NSW Australia.
This is the original photograph
This photo is merely cropped to show the main arch
This photo has an orange filter and has the details sharpened. I like the effect on the shadows.
This is the feature above the arch, with a Cian filter.
This simply has a monochrome filter put on it.
Another 2 photos from my sojourn in the park by the river on a rainy day.
I was going to save this for a black and white challenge, but thought I would include here.
