A recovered sketchbook revealed some pictures including these birds. My favorite is the emus. I will do this one in acrylics. These are done in watercolour pencils.

This is take 2. The first one didn’t obey the Rule of Thirds, but I think this photo of the baby bird by the river demonstrates the principle fairly well.
To beat the depression today, I decided to go have some lunch in the park and take my camera… just in case.

Poor Ibis had to shake a tail feather to try to dry off.
