Lost portraits

Birds from the lost sketchbook.

A recovered sketchbook revealed some pictures including these birds. My favorite is the emus. I will do this one in acrylics. These are done in watercolour pencils.

I am painting a dragonfly this afternoon but the bloody thing won’t keep still.

Firefighter

Quick acrylic painting of a firefighter. This is a plan for a big oil canvas for the Blake Prize.

Some kind of parrot

I did this while in the blood transfusion chair. Its just in pencit as an initial sketch. I will eventually do it in acrylic then on a plate and mug. Only have limited space in the hospital to do this  so please excuse if its not very good.
