Sculptures By the Sea 2015

For two weeks the cliffs between Bondi and Tamarama beaches are covered in large sculptures. For these two weeks, just about every morning I have gotten out of bed early to beat the crowds of people and anklebiters on school excursions to take some photos. Also for the last two weeks it has been wet, windy and miserable for most of these mornings. Some mornings, I poked my head out from the covers and promptly turned over, others I made it out of my front door before abandoning my mission. Finally, yesterday, everything was in order… The planets were aligned so to speak, I rose at 4:30am and after a light breakfast, I drove to the beach and got there as the sun was rising.  I beat most of the crowds, but not the flies, and took some wonderful photos.

I hope you enjoy them.
