Jane Doe

She lay.

Her body splayed in all different angles.

Her throat slit, and blood surrounds her upper torso and soaks into her floral dress.

One shoe has been cast off by her panicked running and lay some distance from her body.

Horror is written on her face; her eyes and mouth forever open.

  1. a very different take on the prompt! Nicely penned!

  2. Gruesome! Beautifully executed though!! 🙂

  3. Shocking story but well written.:)

  4. This is great – expressive words, and your short punchy sentences keep the story ‘sharp’. Great stuff.
