Clouds block lunar eclipse

5:40pm was supposedly the best time for Sydneysiders to view the eclipse this afternoon. Unfortunately the sky was full of rainclouds so we missed out on seeing the blood red moon that was promised.
At that time, I was just about to get in my car to travel to my creative writing group. I looked to the sky to discover I was on the edge of the storm, so snapped these shots with my phone before setting out on my journey. The clouds were coloured by the blood red moon which they hid. Hope you enjoy these pics.
