Comment on Yarries post “reflections on the inspriration for the cotton tree”

I think you shall enjoy a passage from Remembering Babylon…from page 7 “The country he had broken out of was all unknown to them…” the passage goes on to say that before coming to the bush, the children lived in a village where you could always see a church steeple. If you could no longer see it, then you were probably not safe. Your reference to the red dirt… and where it ends is a place where a child dare not tread reminded me immediately of this passage.
Well described Yarrie, I shall enjoy reading more of your writing.
